RESEARCH TRAINING UNIT

ADeC's Unit for Research Training, conducts workshops and expert talks designed to expose UM academics to contemporary and innovative strategies for research and publication, for supervising postgraduate research, and for mentoring of students and academic peers. Through its workshops and talks, RTU promotes research in Higher Education Learning & Teaching, providing assistance with research ideas and proposals. The unit also supports faculty-based mentoring relationships, helping academics with similar interests to connect with one another as mentors and mentees.

The RTU is in charge in managing the UM Learning Improvement and Teaching Enhancement Research Grant (UM-LITER).
